DENVER — Denver Regional Transit District bus drivers, riders and members of Occupy Denver protested cuts in public transportation funding and services, both locally and nationally, saying getting people to and from jobs and home is a basic civil right, denverpost.com reported.

The groups selected April 4 as The National Day of Action for Public Transportation since it is the anniversary of the killing of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. For the full story, click here.
