BOSTON — State lawmakers are proposing legislation that would bar Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) from collecting fares for commuter rail trains that depart 20 minutes or more after their originally scheduled departure time, according to AP.
MBTA would also not be allowed to collect fares from passengers in commuter rail train cars that fail to provide reasonable temperature control. For the full story, click here.
