SYDNEY — As a response to noise complaints from construction on a new light rail project in Sydney, Australia, the project manager passed out $130 noise-cancelling headphones to several residents, the Daily Telegraph reports.

However, some residents and government officials have criticized the headphones, mainly because they are difficult to wear to bed, when construction work is the most disruptive.
