Icomera Names New CEO

Icomera announced it has appointed Catherine Chardon as its new CEO.

“Catherine’s impressive background brings a fresh perspective to our company, and she has already demonstrated a deep understanding of our business – A combination that puts the needs of our clients clearly in focus and pushes us to meet their challenges through operational excellence," said Icomera Board member and interim CEO Baudouin Huon. Catherine Chardon's Experience

Chardon brings decades of transport and technology experience from her time with RATP Group, where she has held senior executive positions delivering bus and rail services in France, Switzerland, the U.S., Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Chardon served as managing director of RATP Dev London and CEO of RATP Dev North America. Her career has also spanned roles at Veolia, Transdev, and, most recently, Bureau Veritas Solutions where she was the executive director.

Chardon holds a DESS from Paris Descartes University, France, an MSc from Nottingham University, UK, and is a graduate of INSEAD.

“I am honored to be joining an innovative company with a track record of delivering technological firsts to the industry, dating back to the development and deployment of the world’s first on-train Wi-Fi service in 2003," Chardon said.

Icomera will welcome Chardon to her new role at the beginning of March. She will be based at Icomera’s global headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden.
