San Mateo County Transit District launched a new program that will allow member organizations, which can include cities, counties, and other public agencies in the region, to share passenger vehicles.

Asked the Ontario Highway Transport Board to order the Queen’s University student-run “Kingston Rocket” to stop operating. Also wants the board to cancel the operating license of the company hired to provide buses and drivers for the service and for the students to pay full costs.
A university transit services official said that as of Dec. 17, 9,358 people used the new Sportsplex route, translating to about 110 to 150 riders a day. The route is eliminating the need to build more parking structures on campus.

Starting Jan. 11, Greyhound Express will run a route that provides two daily trips from Western University to Toronto. This announcement comes two months after Greyhound expanded the popular service from Toronto to London, Windsor, Ann Arbor, Mich., Detroit and Chicago.
