NEW YORK CITY — Subway riders trapped on an snowbound elevated A train in Queens during a blizzard last year are suing the New York City Transit Authority for unspecified damages, according to an AP report in The Chicago Tribune. In court papers describing last year's ordeal, they said they had no heat, food, water or bathroom facilities while the Metropolitan Transportation Authority kept promising help.
