More than $200 million in public improvements to Grand Central Terminal proposed by N.Y. developer: new and iconic transit connections, including new transit hall with direct connection to GCT and new East Side Access concourse; improve and modernize existing transit connections to Metro-North and 4,5,6,7 and S trains; significantly improving pedestrian flow; and new landscaped pedestrian outdoor public space on Vanderbilt between 42nd and 43rd Streets.
