TBX is designed to connect an influential group of public transportation bus operators with a select group of product and service suppliers for an exchange of information, ideas, and solutions. Senior-level transit and paratransit employees who qualify will receive a full scholarship to attend that includes travel and education. TBX 2018 was held in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Mark Aesch set the tone for the event by giving suppliers and operators the chance to discuss issues they are both facing.


Every 12 minutes operators met with a new supplier. The process of TBX is often compared to speed dating.

In addition to one-on-one meetings, supplier hosts also gave short overviews of their companies to participants during Supplier Presentations.

The egg and spoon race was one way of relaxing and enjoying some sunshine during a day filled with meetings and more.

The roundtable discussions in the morning often carried over into the evening festivities.
