The American Public Transportation Association (APTA) brought together transit professionals from across North America and beyond for its 2026 TRANSform & EXPO, held Oct. 4 to 7 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
The event brought together transit agency executives, manufacturers, technology providers, policymakers, and other industry stakeholders to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing public transportation.
Throughout the conference and exhibition, attendees explored developments in zero-emission vehicles, artificial intelligence, autonomous technology, safety, and more. The exhibit floor featured vehicles, equipment, and technology solutions designed to support transit operations and infrastructure.
