Top 50 Motorcoach Operators

There are 20,751 motorcoaches and buses represented in this year's Top 50 Motorcoach Operators survey. Take a look at some of these featured vehicles and find out where some of the operators ranked.

Honolulu's Polynesian Adventure Tours rolled in to the twelfth spot on the list.

Roanoke, Va.-based Abbott Trailways came in at #32 on the list.

Academy Express, based in Hoboken, N.J., which took the #3 spot, implemented new driver training in 2011.

Mesa, Ariz.'s All Aboard America, which tied with two other operators for the 18th spot, boosted their Internet listings significantly this year.

Calco Hotard Group, based in New Orleans, tied for the 18th rank along with All Aboard America and Charter Bus Lines of British Columbia.

Eyre Bus Service, located in Glenelg, Md., saw a 16% bump in business in 2011 and ranked 40th on the list.

Randleman, N.C.-based Holiday Companies tied with Richmond, Va.'s James River Transportation for the 29th spot on this year's list.

Salt Lake City-based Le Bus, which took the 17th spot, saw a 19% boost in business in 2011.

Victoria, B.C.'s McCullough Coach Lines placed in the 50th spot.

San Luis Obispo, Calif.-based Silverado Stages achieved the No. 21 spot this year through broadening their product offerings.

San Diego's Sun Diego Charter Co., which ranked 36th on the list, reported that business was up 5% for them in 2011.

 

Anchorage, Alaska-based Premier Alaska Tours, which came in at #43 on the list, began offering bus and port security and CSA driver training in 2011.

Springfield, Mass.-based Peter Pan Bus Lines took the 6th spot on the list.

Northfield, Minn.-based Northfield Lines, which came in at No. 44, up three spots from 2010's list, saw a 20% increase in business in 2011.

Easton, Pa.'s Easton Coach Co. placed seventh on the list.

Clearfield, Pa.-based Fullington Auto Bus Co. recently implemented new customer service training for its drivers.

Minneapolis' Schmitty & Sons/Gray Line Minneapolis, which tied for the 44th spot with Northfield Lines, implemented a Project Green Fleet program to reduce vehicle emissions in 2011.

FirstGroup America - Greyhound Lines Inc. took the top spot on the list again this year.

West Chester, Pa.'s Krapf Coaches placed fifteenth on the list this year, up one spot from last year.

Lamers Bus Lines, based in Green Bay, Wis., took the 13th spot on the list.
