MTA Metro-North Railroad recently announced the restoration of limited northbound train service on the Hudson Line.
Southbound trains will continue to originate from Peekskill. The restoration of service comes just three peak periods after service had to be suspended due to storm damage.
The Upper Harlem Line service returned to its normal schedule, with train service resuming to and from Wassaic.
“Metro-North crews have put forth another Herculean effort following an extreme weather event, clearing the tracks of fallen trees, high water, mud and debris. It is because of their hard work that we are able to restore service on the full Hudson and Harlem lines,” said Metro-North Railroad President Catherine Rinaldi. “Hudson Line customers should check TrainTime before traveling, as we will run a modified schedule to allow for further storm clean up.”
