The latest installment of METROspectives features Mark Ellison, VP, sales and marketing, for InterMotive Vehicles Controls, and George Hadley, production manager at PRIDE Industries, who discuss an innovative program that sees PRIDE Industries provide a workforce comprised of people with disabilities to help build products for InterMotive Vehicle Controls.
Ellison and Hadley discuss not only how the partnership came about, but what the benefits have been for both companies, as well as the impact of having people with disabilities building products for people with disabilities.
Additional recent videos include a great conversation with CTAA Executive Director Scott Bogren on funding, challenges facing small and mid-sized transit agencies, and fare-free public transit, and conversations from the APTA EXPO show floor with officials from INIT, Vontas, Swiftly, and more.
Also, dig into our archives for talks on ZEBs with CALSTART’s Jared Schnader, AI with Hayden AI’s Charles Territo, and motorcoach marketing and more with Mark Szyperski.
