STV provided design, inspection and test engineering support services for this initiative, which also extends north of the border to Canada where the same vehicles are being procured for Agence Métropolitaine de Transport in Montreal. Pa. transit mulls swipe cards for seniors

The Luzerne County Transportation Authority may issue swipe cards to senior citizens to prevent bus drivers from being able to manipulate ridership totals. The move is a response to allegations that drivers are counting "ghost riders" to increase state funding.
