Calif.’s Metrolink unveils ‘quiet cars’

Beginning Oct. 3, a passenger car on every weekday Metrolink train will be designated as a quiet car to ensure peace and quiet for passengers that prefer an almost noiseless commute. The second car away from the locomotive on each train set will be designated as the quiet car.

Denver RTD unveils new commuter rail mock-up

This passenger train, much different than RTD’s current light rail vehicle, will be used on the East Rail Line to Denver International Airport (DIA), the Gold Line to Arvada-Wheat Ridge and a segment of the Northwest Rail Line to Westminster.
