FTA releases $20M in emergency transportation funds

Will reimburse Oregon, Alabama and South Carolina for fixing or replacing highways, bridges and other roadway structures. Costs associated with detours, debris removal and other immediate measures necessary to restore traffic flow in affected areas are also eligible for reimbursement.

FTA awards Cap Metro $38M for BRT system

The new MetroRapid bus service includes construction of 40 new bus stations and the purchase of 40 clean diesel buses that will operate along a 37.5-mile route on streets that run parallel to the region’s main highways, I-35 and Loop-1.
