Kelchen previously worked as director of operations for a bus company providing scheduled service between Dallas, Austin, Houston, Fort Worth and San Antonio, Texas.

Motor Coach Industries (MCI) announced that Sean Kelchen has joined the company as new coach sales regional VP for the Southeast.

Kelchin will serve MCI customers in Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Tennessee. He will be based in Nashville, reporting to New Coach Sales VP Pat Ziska.

Kelchen previously worked as director of operations for a bus company that provides high-end passenger line-haul scheduled service between Dallas, Austin, Houston, Fort Worth and San Antonio, Texas.

Kelchen began his career in 1992 as a driver for Tri-State Travel in Galena, Ill. He left Tri-State in 1994 for Harker’s Distribution, a food service wholesaler and manufacturer, where he held sales and transportation management positions. He also had an 11-year career in operations management with Linn Star Transfer, a logistics company where he opened 14 warehouse and delivery centers throughout the United States.
