The Aftermarket Parts Company LLC, operating as NFI Parts™, a subsidiary of New Flyer Industries Inc., has been awarded a Preferred Supplier Agreement for an initial term of one year, with option to renew for an additional four years by MV Transportation Inc. The agreement will ensure the availability of OEM approved parts to support MV’s customers at over 200 locations across North America. NFI Parts’ extensive distribution network is ideal to support MV’s broad customer base in the U.S. and Canada.

MV is a provider of paratransit services and the largest privately-owned passenger transportation contracting services firm in the U.S. In addition to paratransit services, the company provides fixed-route, campus and corporate shuttles, and student transportation services. Founded in 1975, MV serves over 110 million passengers each year across 30 states and three Canadian provinces with a team of more than 20,000 transit professionals.

“NFI Parts is pleased to have been selected as the preferred supplier to support MV’s fleets with parts and inventory services,” said NFI Parts President Brian Dewsnup. “This new partnership shows that we are the most capable in the industry to support bus and coach fleets based on value, delivery, and reliability. Our focus is providing customers with tailored solutions to meet their critical service needs, ranging from parts kits to a one-stop-shop supply solution.”

NFI Parts is the OEM parts supplier of NFI Group, providing replacement parts for New Flyer transit buses and MCI motorcoaches, as well as the product lines for the previously acquired NABI transit bus and Orion parts businesses. NFI Parts has extensive cross references for parts that are common with other transit bus and motorcoach product lines, to provide comprehensive support for customers with mixed bus fleets. NFI Parts has a mature supply base and established relationships with over 1,000 suppliers of transit bus and motorcoach components and systems.

With over 89 years of parts experience, NFI Parts supports a combined fleet of 72,000 active transit buses and motorcoaches, serves 4,200 customers annually, and maintains relationships with 17,000 customers. NFI Parts understands the operational importance of getting the right parts, on time, all the time; allowing customer maintenance teams to focus on repairs, and returning buses and coaches to service quickly.
