Spheros North America (SNA), as part of their continued strategic growth initiative in the U.S., announces the opening of a new installation facility in Tulsa, Okla. by the end of the first quarter 2015.

Carl (Wayne) Chandler has joined SNA as plant manager of the new Tulsa installation plant. Chandler has for the past ten years been a leader and innovator in the A/C installation business working for a successful A/C installation facility in Conway, Ark. and has been involved in completing an estimated 23,000 successful installations in all types of buses through his career. He is regarded as an expert in the installation of ducted and split A/C systems.

The Tulsa facility will enhance SNA’s ability to bring new product innovations to the market and the capability to better support the growing A/C needs in the bus industry. The increased proficiencies in installation and application testing will enable SNA to realize greater efficiencies and provide the highest level of service to its customers, according to the company.

“Spheros North America intends to utilize its expertise to better serve the bus industry with direct manufacturer installation of A/C systems,” said Heiko Baufeld, CEO of Spheros North America. “We are proud and excited to have Wayne Chandler spearheading this endeavor.  We feel Wayne’s proven track record for successful A/C installations and leadership skills will be a benefit in executing Spheros’ vision for this facility. Overall, this is an important step in Spheros’ effort to continually strengthen our positon as an industry leader and better serve our growing customer base.”
