Driverless Shuttle Demos on Sacramento St. U. Campus

During a two-day demonstration in mid-March, Sacramento State students, faculty, and staff got to ride an electric, self-driving shuttle between certain points on campus. The event, sponsored by Varden Labs, a Canadian company that has developed autonomous vehicle (AV) technology, is conducting similar sessions on several campuses to demonstrate the vehicle's capabilities and observe how individuals interact with it.
