Transdev, TriMet Expand Partnership with New Services

Transdev said it will help clients further support their eligible passengers obtain the certification they need to access the appropriate ADA-designated transportation solution.

Transdev announced it continues to expand its partnership with TriMet by adding the Paratransit Eligibility Assessment & Travel Training Services management to its portfolio, which became effective Jan. 1, 2023, according to the company's news release.

Transdev currently operates TriMet’s paratransit bus operations and its Operations Contact Center, which includes the reservations, scheduling, customer service, and dispatch functions of TriMet’s LIFT program (ADA paratransit).

As part of its new Paratransit Eligibility Assessment & Travel Training Services contract, Transdev’s responsibilities include assessing the physical and/or cognitive abilities of new and existing LIFT applicants to use fixed route bus and MAX transit services, in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

“We are excited to leverage our extensive experience with paratransit and the related ADA eligibility process through our Mobility Options business line to further support our TriMet client,” said Sean Powers, VP of mobility options. “We are proud of the relationship we have established with TriMet through providing safe, sustainable, and reliable mobility solutions to our customers and look forward to bringing even more value through this new contract.”

Through its mobility options by Transdev business line, Transdev said it will help clients further support their eligible passengers obtain the certification they need to access the appropriate ADA-designated transportation solution.
