A campus-centered service unifies the community

In 2008, the Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District (MTD) increased the frequency on a popular route, focusing on the center portion that supported the largest number of boardings and alightings and branded it the GREENhopper. While MTD designs its service to satisfy many populations, this experiment was directed toward the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign campus.
