Higher fee will give N.Y. college students bus pass

After officials approved a $40 annual transportation fee increase, students at SUNY Broome Community College will receive a year-round bus pass for Broome County Transit. The transportation fee, which is now $90, also goes toward security and maintenance of campus parking lots.
