Auditors recommend video surveillance for Milwaukee paratransit

A survey found some Transit Plus clients expressing concern over a lack of video surveillance in vans. The county recommended in an audit continuously running surveillance cameras be installed in all vans, prompted by a complaint regarding a man who reportedly slipped in his wheelchair while in a van "and was hanging by his neck from the seat belt affixed to the vehicle."
