The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) is currently working with Bytemark to develop a state of the art mobile ticketing solution. Once launched, the app will offer people across Metro Atlanta an enhanced traveling experience using Bytemark’s award winning technology on their smartphones.

Using validators from hardware supplier, Kapsch, the visual and barcode-based tickets will allow MARTA to deliver an even better quality and affordable transit service to the people of Atlanta.

This is just the latest high-profile transport authority launch from the New York-based smart ticketing and payments solutions provider. Bytemark has been a leader in providing mobile app technologies to the transit industry for over 5 years since the release of the New York Waterway app in January 2012.
