Complete Coach Works (CCW) announced that its facility tour conducted during the California Transit Association (CTA) Annual Fall Conference was a highlighted activity for the members in attendance.

During the CCW facility tour, attendees had an opportunity to see all the major work areas of CCW base operations. Attendees were escorted by CCW key personnel in a 50-passenger tram through several production areas, which included welding, fabrication, engine repowering, and other work areas that spotlighted full bus rehabilitation, accident repairs, electrification processes, and aftersales service.

Attendees also learned about the design, development, and assembly of CCW’s Zero Emission Propulsion System (ZEPS) by touring the ZEPS Center. ZEPS can be incorporated into many different vehicle designs including transit buses, trucks, and school buses.

CCW is the largest bus remanufacturing facility in the U.S. and along with its affiliated companies, Transit Sales International and Shuttle Bus Leasing, offers a full range of services and solutions to the public and private transportation industry. Located in Riverside, Calif., on a 15-acre facility, CCW which has been in operation for over 30 years, has branch operations in Northern California and Tennessee.
