Hill International, the global leader in managing construction risk, announced today the promotion and hiring of eight executives to the position of senior vice president.

Daniel J. Heilig, of Hill’s Denver office, has been promoted to senior VP within the company’s Project Management Group. Heilig has more than 40 years of program, project and construction management experience in the transportation, power, petroleum, petrochemical, mining and aerospace sectors.
Thomas Hofbauer, of Hill’s Munich, Germany office, has been promoted to senior VP within the company’s Construction Claims Group. Hofbauer has nearly 20 years of experience in tunneling, rail and road infrastructure projects as well as process plants and also rolling stock engineering/manufacturing and information technology projects.
Emmanouil Kotsifis, of Hill’s Dubai, United Arab Emirates office, has rejoined the company as senior VP with the company’s Project Management Group. Kotsifis has more than 20 years of experience as a qualified civil engineer with expertise in real estate development, project management, construction management, contract management and administration, scheduling, quality assurance, quality audits and quality control on projects in Europe and the Middle East.
Luis Lugo Jr., of Hill’s New York City office, has rejoined the company as senior VP with the company’s Construction Claims Group. Lugo has more than 30 years of leadership experience in the military and the private sector. Lugo’s background includes projects in the transit, airport, housing and educational sectors.
Joseph A. Naughton, AIA, LEED AP, of Hill’s Boston, Massachusetts office, has been promoted to Senior Vice President and New England Regional Manager for the company’s Project Management Group. Naughton has more than 25 years of experience in architecture and construction with expertise in project and construction management.
William J. Screnci, CMA, of Hill’s Marlton, New Jersey office, has been promoted to senior VP/treasurer with the company’s Finance Department. Screnci has more than 30 years of experience as a senior financial officer and controller with responsibility for strategic planning, development and leadership of the corporate finance function, financial planning and analysis, tax, treasury, budgeting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Douglas V. Traver, RLA, of Hill’s New York City office, has been promoted to senior VP with the company’s Project Management Group. Traver has more than 29 years of experience in project and construction management, site engineering and design encompassing a wide variety of projects including educational facilities, parks and recreation, institutional and government facilities.
Elizabeth J. Zipf, LEED AP BD+C, of Hill’s Marlton, New Jersey, office, has been promoted to senior VP in charge of the company’s Proposals and Graphics Group. Zipf has more than 20 years of experience in the A/E/C industry in marketing, communications, business development strategy, long-term business planning and managing production and design staff across multiple offices.
