IndyGo announced it is partnering with Marathon Health to provide primary care to employees and their family members at no cost, according to the agency's press release.
“IndyGo prides itself on providing outstanding benefits for our employees, and our hope is that this partnership with Marathon will enhance that benefit even more,” said Inez Evans, IndyGo president/CEO. “The value of having an onsite clinic, and now a network of clinics around the city, will increase access and decrease the cost of healthcare for our team of dedicated employees.”
Starting this month, IndyGo employees and their families will have nine ways to access care teams who offer everything from physicals and chronic condition management to behavioral health counseling, CDL exams, and medications. They can make an appointment onsite at the IndyGo Health and Wellness Center, visit one of seven Marathon Health Network centers located around Indianapolis, or see a provider virtually.
“Our mission is to partner with employers to make it easier for their team members to access great primary care,” said Dr. Jeff Wells, Marathon Health co-founder/CEO. “Our proven primary care model delivered through employers has the power to transform healthcare in this country, and we’re excited to serve the incredible employees of IndyGo.”
The IndyGo Health and Wellness Center is located at 1501 W. Washington St.
Marathon Health Network centers are located in downtown Indianapolis, Traders Point, Greenwood, Plainfield, Carmel, Washington Square, and a seventh location will open in Fishers next month.
