As part of this safety and security enhancement, Apollo Video will install 140 camera systems in transit buses, public safety vehicles and service supervisor vans. Up to 12 cameras will be installed on each vehicle throughout the fleet.

Implementation of the RoadRunner HD™ on-board video surveillance system will offer a comprehensive and customized solution that includes high-definition recorders, advanced high-definition IP cameras and sophisticated accessories comprising of wireless routers, accelerometers and GPS.

The state-of-the-art system will be integrated with Vehicle Information Management (ViM™) Software allowing users to view and organize video clips as well as examine the health of equipment onboard each bus.
