WSP | PB taps Werkmeister as nat'l strategic pursuit manager

Tamara Werkmeister has been named a national strategic pursuit manager at WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff.

In her new position, she will work with the firm’s area managers nationwide to develop strategies for increasing the firm’s transportation business. Based in Orange, Calif., Werkmeister will also lead the firm’s strategic pursuit process in Southern California.

Werkmeister has 27 years of business development, marketing and sales experience, and has successfully led major strategic campaigns for large infrastructure pursuits across Southern California. Prior to joining WSP | PB, she served as Southern California sales and business development manager for an infrastructure professional services firm, responsible for driving sustainable and strategic sales growth in the region.

Werkmeister earned a master’s degree in business administration from Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business, and a bachelor’s degree in social science from the University of California, Irvine. Among her professional affiliations, she is a member of the board of directors of the Orange County chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies and the Los Angeles chapters of the Women’s Transportation Seminar and Orange County Business Council.
