Tour Rio de Janeiro's various transport infrastructure projects underway and services already launched in anticipation of the 2016 Olympic Games. Projects include bus rapid transit, expressway, light rail tram and cable car.

The Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority's LEED Platinum-certified Central Station in downtown Des Moines is the primary transfer location betweeen routes and includes the Customer Service Department and Administrative Offices. The station, which opened in November 2012 features many amenities including climate-controlled waiting areas, covered loading platforms, a bicycle storage room and Java Joe’s CoffeeHouse.

The Commuter Rail Facility (CRMF) sits on 30 acres and is 230,000 square feet. Approximately 240 mechanics, operators and other staff will work out of this state-of-the-art, LEED Gold-certified building.

Mcity is the world's first full-scale simulated urban environment designed expressly for testing the performance and safety of connected, automated, and autonomous vehicles under controlled and realistic road conditions. It is a 32-acre outdoor laboratory for advanced mobility systems that includes network of roads with intersections, traffic signs and signals, streetlights, building facades, sidewalks and construction obstacles.

Chicago Transit Authority launched its new courtesy campaign May 2015, which aims to encourage riders to be considerate of other riders. The campaign, featuring a series of messages to be placed on buses and trains, reflects some of the most commonly heard complaints from riders about the behaviors of fellow public transit passengers.

The state-of-the-art World Trade Center Transportation Hub, when completed in 2015, will serve over 200,000 daily commuters and millions of annual visitors from around the world. At approximately 800,000 square feet, the Hub, which features a wing-like "Oculus” design, will connect visitors to 11 different subway lines, the Port Authority Trans-Hudson (PATH) rail system and Battery Park City Ferry Terminal.

New York City's Second Avenue Subway will be the first major expansion of the subway system in over 50 years. When fully completed, the line will stretch 8.5 miles along the length of Manhattan's East Side, from 125th Street in Harlem to Hanover Square in Lower Manhattan. In addition, a track connection to the existing 63rd Street and Broadway Lines will allow a second subway line to provide direct service from East Harlem and the Upper East Side to West Midtown via the Broadway express tracks.
