Disabled rights committee opposes Utah fee hikes

A proposal to increase paratransit fares 60 percent by 2013 will force many riders to choose between going to medical appointments, purchasing food or refilling prescriptions, claims the Disabled Rights Action Committee. The agency said it has held off on raising fares since 2008.
