Bombardier Transportation is showcasing two of its most recent and major innovations in the field of urban mobility — the Bombardier PrimoveCity e-mobility solution and the Bombardier INNOVIA Monorail 300 system — at the 59th World Congress and Exhibition of the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) this week in Dubai.

Under the theme "The Future of Urban Transportation," Bombardier will explain how its PrimoveCity contactless power transfer solution addresses the current range and recharging constraints of all types of electric vehicles, such as trams, buses and cars.

In addition, Bombardier will show how the INNOVIA Monorail 300 system can offer medium to high transport capacities, with cost-effective, short time construction and very low use of premium inner city space.

The high-capacity Bombardier MOVIA metro, the highly energy-efficient Bombardier FLEXITY 2 light rail vehicles and the pioneering Bombardier CITYFLO 650 communication-based train control system are also being exhibited.

"We are very proud to once again be demonstrating our technological leadership and offering solutions that redefine the future of urban transportation at the UITP World Congress" said Bombardier Transportation President/COO André Navarri on the opening day of the event.
