The 2017 model adds:

  • Power liftgate: Operated by a remote keyless fob, the liftgate makes it easier and more convenient for paratransit, taxi and individual owners to load cargo into the rear of the vehicle.

With more than 80 dealerships in the North American MV-1 network, Mobility Ventures LLC is expanding transportation choices for transit and taxi fleets, as well as families. Today, nearly 4,000 MV-1s are in service around the country.

"The MV-1 is the only wheelchair-accessible vehicle designed from the ground up to meet the needs of people who use wheelchairs and our 2017 model year enhancements continue to reflect their input," said Pat Kemp, Mobility Ventures executive VP.

The 2016 MV-1 is currently available in two models.

The SE model provides a cost-effective solution for transit fleets along with unrivaled durability.
The DX model features a two-stage power ramp that is easily deployed with the touch of a button.

Financing options through various established lenders are available for the MV-1 (http://www.mv-1.us/financing-information). In addition, some buyers may be eligible for special grants that help defray the cost of the vehicle.

MV-1 comes standard with a built-in side-entry ramp, ample head room and seating for up to five. The vehicle also includes the ability to safely accommodate two wheelchair users at a time, making it the perfect solution for consumers, commercial use and government fleets.
