Report: Prevost market share leader two straight quarters

Was the only manufacturer to have three different coach models in the report's list of most popular models. The Prevost X3-45 is the second best-selling coach, the Prevost H3-45 is the third best-selling coach and the Volvo 9700 is the sixth best-selling coach in the industry, according to the report.

The latest motorcoach industry report shows that Prevost holds the industry lead in market share for overall coach sales for the 2nd straight quarter. The quarterly report from National Bus Trader publisher, Larry Plachno, reveals that in the third quarter of 2011, Prevost held the market share lead for coach sales in the motorcoach industry. In the second quarter of 2011, Prevost also held the industry market share lead.

"Operators need to be right on target with their purchasing decisions. In an uncertain economy, operators want to work with suppliers who provide the most certainty for their business," said Michael Power, Prevost's director of marketing. "The Prevost offering of a reliable, cost-effective product, coupled with the largest service network and the most dedicated team in the industry, gives operators great confidence in their decision-making."
