GILLIG's Policarpio Announces Retirement

After 28 years at GILLIG, Joe Policarpio, VP, sales and marketing, announced his retirement.

“I am so privileged and honored to have been part of such a remarkable company and to have worked with you, the greatest customers on earth,” said Policarpio in a letter. “Deciding to retire and pursue my own personal goals was a tough decision, particularly knowing how much I will miss the camaraderie, friendships, and great partnerships that we enjoy.”

In his announcement, Policarpio added that GILLIG will continue to provide excellent customer service under the leadership of President & CEO Derek Maunus and Director of Sales Bill Fay, who will be assuming his responsibilities as VP, Sales, after Policarpio retires early next year.

Policarpio also announced Javier Hernandez Jr. will be assuming Fay’s responsibilities as director, national sales. Hernandez has been in key positions on the GILLIG Sales Team, including regional sales manager, and most recently, director, sales operations.

With 20 years of experience at GILLIG, Arminder Dhillon is now rounding out the GILLIG team as director, sales operations. As the former director, publications, Dhillon has a long history of customer experience and a profound knowledge of our buses that provide him with a great foundation to serve customers.
