While the Top 100 Events are not ranked, ABA does highlight the Top U.S. Event for 2008 and Top Canadian Event for 2008. The Top U.S. event is the 75th Annual Hopi Festival of Arts and Culture (www.musnaz.org/Heritage%20Program/Heritage%20Program.htm) in Flagstaff, Ariz. The Top Canadian Event is the Québec City 400th Anniversary (www.myquebec2008.com) in Québec City, Québec.

The Top 100 list is chosen from among hundreds of events nominated by state and provincial tourism officials, and convention and visitors associations from across North America. A panel of U.S. and Canadian travel professionals bases its selections on the events’ broad appeal, their accessibility to large groups arriving by motorcoach and a variety of other criteria.

The full 2008 Top 100 Event list can be found at www.buses.org.
