The developers of the SmartTruckRoute app announced SmartBusRoute, an app geared toward professional commercial bus drivers.
SmartBusRoute provides real-time routing and navigation while avoiding low bridges and roads that are inaccessible for buses. The app also includes satellite and hybrid navigation for destination accuracy, unlimited bus-specific routing upon purchase, and instant activation to negate map download times.
The app is subscription-based, but drivers can use the app free of charge from 1 to 2 p.m. and 1 to 2 a.m. EST per day. SmartTruckRoute is available for Android and Apple iOS smartphones and tablets.
