Deliveries for the initial 48 systems are expected to commence in the first half of FY17 and will be delivered over a 12 month period.

Each LRV will be equipped with:

  • DTI’s advanced TDR6 digital surveillance system with integral switching, enhanced “dual drive” redundancy and communications infrastructure for system management and data downloads.

  • Nine high-definition six-megapixel cameras, each providing a 360 degree panoramic view of the passenger area.

  • Three transit rated power over Ethernet network switches.

  • Multifunction 4G, LTE, 802.11 a/b/g/n ruggedized router to provide live viewing of passenger cameras.

The DTI solution will be supplied with full 4G/LTE “live” streaming functionality, which includes seamless integration into the existing station and platform camera systems. DTI will also provide its comprehensive back-end CCTV management system to centralize and coordinate the CCTV data and allow video evidence and system diagnostics to be recovered from LRVs through an on-line automated CCTV “booking” system utilizing a Wi-Fi network.
