GreenPower Motor Company Inc. delivered three EV350 all-electric transit buses to the City of Porterville, California, for total revenue of $2.5 million. This brings the city’s electric bus fleet to eight EV350’s, which have replaced Porterville’s existing CNG-powered transit buses.
GreenPower has substantially completed the final two EV350 all-electric transit buses for Porterville’s 10 bus order, which are set for delivery to the City in the next quarter.
The City’s route requirements range from 190 miles to 230 miles each weekday. GreenPower configured these buses with over 430 kWh of batteries (standard configuration is 320 kWh) to handle these requirements.

The railroad has issued a formal request for proposals to manufacturers for more than 800 new passenger railcars that will serve 14 long-distance routes nationwide.

The project, finalized on February 12, provides the city with two different configurations of high-definition cameras to outfit 16 buses in the Pretzel City Area Transit fleet.
