The CDO is a newly created executive position responsible for short- and long-term implementation of GRTC service plans and projects. “I am particularly proud to promote Adrienne into this new leadership position during Women’s History Month, bringing our female representation up to nine out of 13 leadership roles within the company,” said CEO Julie Timm. “As our new CDO, Adrienne leads GRTC’s strategic growth through mobility planning and stakeholder communications as well as innovative advancements and investments in technology and infrastructure. She has proven herself to be an invaluable member of our team and has forged strong and trusting connections with our regional partners.”

Torres has been an essential member of the GRTC team since 2014, contributing to landmark projects like the Pulse and GRTC’s network redesign, as well as advancing GRTC’s data collection and analysis efforts. Previously serving as asst. director and later director, planning and scheduling, Torres now joins the GRTC Executive Leadership team, which includes the CEO, chief of staff, and CFAO.

GRTC’s Acting Director of Planning and Scheduling is Emily DelRoss, who takes over for Torres and currently manages bus route planning, bus schedule creation, bus stop amenities, and bus operator runs. DelRoss has held several positions at GRTC since beginning as a planning intern in 2015, including scheduling analyst, transit data analyst, and planning manager, in addition to serving as statewide program manager at the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation for more than a year.

GRTC is a public service corporation providing mobility services in the Greater Richmond area.
