Visalia, Calif.-based Sequoia Shuttle has seen record-breaking ridership in its second season, serving over 2,500 passengers since March 2008.

Sequoia Shuttle experienced an 11 percent increase in ridership over the prior year.
While Californians make up the greatest number of riders, at 88.7 percent, the Sequoia Shuttle is attracting passengers from around the world. Visitors from Great Britain, Denmark and the Netherlands are also traveling with the shuttle service.
The Sequoia Shuttle offers service from downtown Visalia to Sequoia National Park and back.
The interior shuttles provides free transportation to many locations throughout the park, including the Giant Forest Museum, the Giant Sherman Tree, Moro Rock, Lodgepole Visitor Center and Campground, Crescent Meadow and Wuksachi Lodge.
Sequoia Shuttle will continue to operate through Labor Day weekend providing convenient and economically-friendly routes to and from Sequoia National Park.
