BusCon, North America’s “Biggest Bus Show,” announced that Ron Sorci, Founder/CEO of Professional Consulting Resources Inc., will present an informative session for operators looking to expand into the motorcoach market at BusCon 2016, which will be held at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis Sept. 19 to 21, 2016.

Sorci’s session, “Transitioning from Limo Operators to a Full Service Ground Transportation Company,” will take place Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 9:30 a.m. and touch on a host of topics, including using existing accounts to build a motorcoach revenue base; how to work with DMCs, schools and sports teams; the importance of hiring employees with motorcoach experience; and the need to understand and follow U.S. DOT rules and regulations for commercial motor vehicle carriers.

Sorci brings with him more than 25 years of experience in the limousine industry, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer at Aventura Worldwide Transportation in Miami. Previously, Sorci served as President of Precept Transportation in Dallas and U S Transportation in Tarrytown, N.Y. He also served a stint as president of the National Limousine Association and self-published a book entitled “Selling Your Company in the Millennium.”

Another important issue for limousine operators entering the motorcoach market will also be presented by the United Motorcoach Association on Monday, Sept. 19, which will teach new and seasoned operators alike how to be prepared for changing wheelchair lift rules set to go into place in 2018. The session is a definite must for those operators trying to stay ahead of changing federal regulations. BusCon 2016 returns to the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis Sept. 19-21. Registration for BusCon 2016 is now open at http://www.busconexpo.com/Default.aspx. Register by August 19 for a free Exhibits Only pass or a discounted Full Conference Pass.
