MCI delivers 6 J4500s to San Antonio
In addition, the company announced that Wolfgang Winzer joined the company as VP and GM, aftermarket business.
San Antonio-based Regent Coach Line recently purchased six new Motor Coach Industries (MCI) J4500 coaches.
The new coaches, which replace six others in the company’s 21-coach fleet, sport Wi-Fi and 110-volt outlets in addition to standard features that include electronic stability control, wide-ride suspension with Koni FSD shocks.
The new J4500s also feature 2010-EPA-standard Cummins ISX engines and Allison transmissions, which have, in many cases, delivered better fuel efficiency than previous configurations, along with near-zero emissions.
In addition, MCI announced that Wolfgang Winzer joined the company as VP and GM, aftermarket business.
In this new position, Winzer will lead MCI Service Parts, MCI Service Centers and in-field technical support. He will be based at MCI’s Louisville, Ky., facility and reports directly to MCI’s CEO Rick Heller.
