YCTD, based in Woodland, Calif., is known for its "Yolobus" local and intercity bus line that serves Davis, West Sacramento, Winters, Woodland, downtown Sacramento, Sacramento International Airport, Cache Creek Casino Resort, Esparto, Madison, Dunnigan and Knights Landing.

The contract, signed in 2009, which provides for the purchase of up to a total of 131 coaches over its five-year term, is already benefiting other lines besides YCTD's. El Dorado Transit based in Diamond Springs, Calif., took five MCI Commuter Coaches in 2009 and plans to add another four this year. Placer County Transit, located in Auburn, Calif., took four coaches in 2009 and will take one more in 2010. Yuba-Sutter Transit, based in Marysville, Calif., has three coaches on order for delivery this year.

MCI also announced that Wichita, Kan.-based Village Tours & Travel took delivery of two new MCI J4500 models, increasing its fleet to 24 coaches.

The two new MCI J4500s have 52 and 56 seats, respectively, and operate with clean diesel engine technology on standard Cummins B500 engines and Allison transmissions. They also include premium sound, leather piping and VIP headrests; a Recaro driver's seat; 110-volt power outlets and Wi-Fi.
