Atomic City Transit set to debut
LOS ALAMOS, N.M. — Los Alamos gets a new transit system Nov. 5, 2007, the scheduled roll-out date for Atomic City Transit. Both the name of the bus system and the 10-year operations plan were approved at Tuesday's county council meeting, as the public was treated to a first glimpse of routes, schedules and fees. Delays hamper universal Bay Area transit pass
SAN FRANCISCO — The full-scale launch of a pass that could be used on any Bay Area bus, train or ferry has been pushed back to 2010 due to software problems, spiraling costs and difficulty in getting the 26 participating transportation agencies to reach consensus. Aesch, tapped to head HART, will stay in Rochester
TAMPA, Fla. — HART (Hillsborough Area Regional Transit) selected Mark Aesch to head the organization Aug. 3, with salary and benefit talks beginning days later. Monday, the Rochester-Genesee Regional Transportation Authority, where Aesch currently serves as CEO, issued a news release stating Aesch turned down the Tampa job.
