LOS ANGELES — Elon Musk's tunneling company, The Boring Co., presented plans to build a transportation tunnel under Culver City, Calif., according to BBC News.
The plans for the privately funded transportation tunnel, in which passengers are transported on autonomous electric skates travelling at 125-150mph, were presented at a council meeting on Monday, the report said.
The proposal for the privately funded system that would run underneath the Westside of Los Angeles was reported to have been well-received by some members of the council as a way of dealing with the region's traffic congestion, BBC News reported.
