Dallas Area Rapid Transit Names Interim President/CEO

The Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) board announced the appointment of David Leininger as interim president and CEO, effective May 4.

With over four decades of public service, Leininger returns to DART to fulfill the same transitional role he previously held from 2020 to 2021. He also served the agency for nine years as its CFO.

As interim president/CEO, Leininger will oversee day-to-day operations, support ongoing strategic initiatives, and work closely with the board, staff, and regional stakeholders to ensure the continued delivery of high-quality transit services.

Clean Energy Taps Corbus as President/CEO

Wojcik brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across public transportation, public safety, and financial services to his role as COO. Most recently, he served as a senior manager of bus operations at the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), overseeing a workforce of more than 600 employees across dozens of bus routes, managing regulatory compliance, labor relations, budget oversight, and service delivery.

His career at CTA spans roles from bus operator to senior manager, reflecting a consistent record of growth and hands-on operational leadership within one of the nation's largest transit systems. Before joining CTA, Wojcik served for a decade as a police officer and held a licensed financial advisory role at Prudential Financial.
