Dallas Area Rapid Transit Names Interim President/CEO
The Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) board announced the appointment of David Leininger as interim president and CEO, effective May 4.
With over four decades of public service, Leininger returns to DART to fulfill the same transitional role he previously held from 2020 to 2021. He also served the agency for nine years as its CFO.
As interim president/CEO, Leininger will oversee day-to-day operations, support ongoing strategic initiatives, and work closely with the board, staff, and regional stakeholders to ensure the continued delivery of high-quality transit services.
The DART board has also initiated a national search for a permanent president and CEO and will provide updates as that process moves forward.
Clean Energy Taps Corbus as President/CEO
Clean Energy Fuels Corp.’s board appointed Clay Corbus as president and CEO, effective immediately.
Corbus also joins Clean Energy’s board, succeeding Andrew Littlefair, Clean Energy’s co-founder and CEO, who has been at the helm of the company for 30 years. Littlefair will transition from his executive role to serve as a non-employee government relations consultant for the company and will continue to serve on Clean Energy’s board.
Corbus brings 19 years of experience at Clean Energy to the new role, having held several senior executive positions, including leading the development of the company’s corporate strategy, overseeing all M&A activities and capital-raising initiatives, and, most recently, managing Clean Energy’s growing RNG production and distribution businesses. Previously, Corbus was Co-CEO of the investment bank WR Hambrecht + Co.
MCTS Names New COO
Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) named Brian E. Wojcik as COO.
Wojcik brings more than 20 years of leadership experience across public transportation, public safety, and financial services to his role as COO. Most recently, he served as a senior manager of bus operations at the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), overseeing a workforce of more than 600 employees across dozens of bus routes, managing regulatory compliance, labor relations, budget oversight, and service delivery.
His career at CTA spans roles from bus operator to senior manager, reflecting a consistent record of growth and hands-on operational leadership within one of the nation's largest transit systems. Before joining CTA, Wojcik served for a decade as a police officer and held a licensed financial advisory role at Prudential Financial.
Wojcik succeeds Kevin Pumphrey, who is retiring after 28 years of service to MCTS.
Kurtulus Named CEO at Voith Turbo
The Voith Group appoints Denise Kurtulus as CEO of Voith Turbo and member of the corporate board of management of the Voith Group, effective September 1. She succeeds Cornelius Weitzmann, who left the company at his own request at the end of 2025.
Kurtulus joins Voith from Rolls-Royce Power Systems, where she was most recently responsible for the Marine and Mining divisions. She has extensive experience in drive technology, particularly in sales, service, and strategic business development.
With her comprehensive industry knowledge, operational experience, and clear customer focus, she is ideally positioned to develop the Group Division and strengthen its market position successfully. Voith Turbo has a broad technology portfolio and a global customer base across key industries.
