REI's recently debuted Digital Media Center is an audio/video entertainment solution that offers easy access to thousands of movies, songs and photos, all stored in one convenient system. At the core of the Digital Media Center is a military class mobile computer with 500GB hard drive and vibration dampening system, keeping it safe and secure for your mobile environment. Features of the Digital Media Center include HD capability, user-friendly software, safety video priority playback with reporting, touchscreen LCD control and password protection from unauthorized use.
Another solution featured in the new catalog is the MP-1000 Passenger Safety Announcement Player. This innovative technology allows users to customize a video and audio safety message and obtain a date and time log to verify the announcement has been played. The REI MP-1000 is equipped with auxiliary video and audio inputs to interface with existing entertainment systems and automatically switches between the two. Playback options include: AutoPlay upon power-up; loop continuous message; or stop/start priority message utilizing a convenient trigger button.
