Bourbonnais, Ill.-based River Valley Metro Mass Transit posted record ridership in July transporting 56,400 customers, which is a 32 percent increase over the same time period last year.
River Valley also announced that will add two new routes, including a new fixed route serving Manteno and increased services in some key locations.
New routes and additional service will begin on August 11.
All of River Valley Metro’s routes will have the same hours of operation, including Sundays and major holiday services.
