“We’re proud to be recognized for our continued innovation in video safety with an open platform that offers more options for fleets, more protection for their drivers and faster results for their business,” stated Steve Mitgang, SmartDrive CEO. “Today’s fleets need their technology investments to keep pace with the speed of innovation and the growth of their business. SmartDrive’s Assurance 360 does just that — offering our customers the fastest insight to risk and the most value for their investment with up to four camera integration, sophisticated data analytics, easy-to-use coaching and breakthrough driving insights that directly impact the bottom line.”

The SmartDrive Assurance product line is designed for commercial fleets focused on maximum protection and prevention of safety- and compliance-related incidents. The first video-based safety program that can be easily tuned to risk priorities and specific operating environments through a range of camera, integration and program configuration options, SmartDrive Assurance gives fleets the power to protect themselves with a solution that fits their specific business needs.

With the option to deploy up to four cameras, Assurance enables a 360 degree view of the vehicle and insight to the most frequent causes of collisions — such as U-turns, backing, unintended lane changes, roll-overs and close following — delivering an unprecedented level of coverage and complete visibility to risk.

Organizations from across the globe submitted their recent innovations for consideration in the 2016 BIG Innovation Awards. Nominations were then judged by a select group of business leaders and executives who volunteer their time and expertise to score submissions and provide feedback.
